Dachshund fabric based on my handmade linocuts of my local, handsome smooth haired dachshunds - perfect for the dog lover! This dachshund fabric perfectly captures these fabulous dogs. This design is based on a single colour linocut on brown fabric and this technique has captured both the style and nature of these little dogs. The fabric would suit cushions or pillows for a dog owner's sofa - or the tablecloth in a kitchen where dachshunds rule.
These linocuts are based on the feisty dachshunds owned by my neighbours, and who were good enough to 'sit' and 'stay' while I photographed them. The final linocuts were printed up on my 120 year old heritage proofing press and transformed into this design.
