Bumble Bees and Flowers on Yellow Background

Sensational print of bumble bees enjoying nectar from flowers, based on 4 different handmade linocut prints of bees.   The bright yellow,  black and cream combination works well together.  It looks terrific in a fabric which can hold the yellow, such as satin or minky.   You can read about how I created these linocuts here on my blog.

The large scale print is fantastic for upholstery or soft furnishings projects.  I made it into a cushion with a black trim, and it is now a centre piece on one of our sofas (you can also order cushions from Spoonflower).  Each bee and flower is around 8cm x 8cm across.  (3 inches x 3 inches).  The whole repeat is around 34cm x 22.5cm (13inches x 9 inces).

There is also a version specially rotated to suit being sewn into a tea towel - choose a fat quarter of linen cotton canvas.  Makes the perfect house warming gift or present for a gardener!
