These stunning poppies grow each summer, covering a large part of our garden, thankfully without any input or tending from us, as neither of us are skilled gardeners.
The printed area is 30 x 40cm and the paper is 35 x 45cm. It is a 3 colour print. The background is a light duck egg blue. The leaves are olive green. The poppies are a vibrant red. The ink used is a rich oil based ink and the paper is white Heritage. It is a repeat pattern, as the framed prints illustrate.
All of my linocut prints turn out slightly differently – depending on where the linocut is placed on the paper, how much ink is rolled on, and how much pressure is used to transfer the ink from the linocut onto the paper. It is a very limited edition print of 18.
It has been designed as an interconnected pattern. It looks stunning displayed in a three. If you would like to buy several, please contact me for a discount.
This poppy design can be bought as a fabric design here.
