Blue bird, butterfly and flower art nouveau inspired design, with the original image hand printed from a woodcut. This results in a pattern which is rich in texture and depth of colour. The bird is a Blue Dacnis and is one of 5 designs created by artist and printmaker Marliese Richmond based on the collections of Perth Museum and Art Gallery. The fabric used on the chair and stool on display was Chichi Velour - a beautiful luxurious fabric.
