Purple Hummingbird Fabric and Wallpaper

Purple humming bird fabric and wallpaper with green leaf background.  This was created from a collagraph - pieces of card cut out in the shape of a hummingbirds, decorated with feathers, inked up and a print taken on my press.  The leaf print is created using the silhouette of real leaves.  They were inspired by the real hummingbirds I saw in Ecuador.  Read about the printmaking process behind creating the hummingbird motifs here.  The repeat size is 20cm x 14cm, with the hummingbird motifs around 10cm across.
