This piece of rabbit art shows rabbits at home doing the things that rabbits do! They have taken up residence underneath a field of carrots, where there is plenty to eat. One rabbit is busy extending their burrow and others are having a snooze.

There are rabbits everywhere in Perthshire. I wanted to do a linocut which depicted rabbits going about their everyday routine.

The printed area is 32 x 15cm and the paper is 37 x 20cm. It is printed in brown ink on handmade paper. The print is made up of three separate linocuts which are linked in terms of design.

All of my linocut prints turn out slightly differently – depending on where the linocut is placed on the paper, how much ink is rolled on, and how much pressure is used to transfer the ink from the linocut onto the paper. This shade of brown is one of an edition of 100 prints, and each print is number, titled and signed, all in pencil. If you would like me to scan a copy of the exact print you will receive and email it to you in advance, I am very happy to do that. The print will arrive in a poster tube. It is packaged into a clear plastic bag, which has been reinforced with a card insert.
