Mummy Bear is gazing at her cub with delight and adoration. It is entitled 'Baby Bear'. This is one of a series of hand made prints inspired by the birth of my daughter.  It captures the overwhelming love I felt for her.

The printed area is 13cm x 16cm and the paper is 21cm x 27.5cm. It is printed in brown oil-based ink onto Heritage paper. The print is created by transferring one of my illustrations onto a plate. The plate is inked up by hand and a print taken.

All plate prints turn out slightly differently – depending on where the plate is placed on the paper, how much ink is rolled on, and how much pressure is used to transfer the ink from the linocut onto the paper. It an open edition print.
